I applied online. I interviewed at Shell in Oct 2014
Interview
Online application (general questions like where do you live, what schools you've finished etc)
Online Assesment (2 parts)
They sent me an online assesment that is consisted of two parts. The second one is sent by email about 30 mins after you finish the first one. The firt part is all about you and how you see yourself. The second part is tricky. You need to be really ready. It is not that hard though but I still recommend practicing some questions before the assesment.

Question 1
The questions were super hard to do in 18 minutes. Can't remember any question, but I strongly advice you to practice solving problems about complicated graphs.
I applied through other source. I interviewed at Shell (Singapore)
Interview
The interview process focses on behavioral assessments and technical screenings. Candidates are tested on the "CAR" method, focusing on safety, leadership, and on job competence through structured and in depth questions.
The first round is a recorded video interview. You need to record some videos based on their questions. There were 3 questions or me, which is not very unique. About your project, your interest in Shell.
I recently completed a video interview on HireVue, and the overall experience was pretty interesting. The platform presented a large number of psychological assessment questions along with several prompts focused on workplace morality and ethical decision-making. I appreciated that HireVue allowed unlimited time to record and re-record my video responses, which took a lot of the pressure off and made the process feel more flexible and less rushed.
Each portion of the interview was fairly in-depth and required thoughtful answers, so it ended up taking around 30 minutes per section. The combination of the structured assessments and the freedom to redo videos made the entire interview feel thorough but manageable.
