Interview
Following an online application to the Shell Graduate Scheme, I received an e-mail from the company saying that I was shortlisted for the first phase of the Shell recruitment process: the phone interview. From the same e-mail, I accessed to a link where I could chose the day and time of the interview among several timeslots.
The interviewer called me at the time scheduled and explained me how the interview process was structured. The interview was divided in three phase:
1 - general questions about my preferences on position and location,
2 - competency questions,
3 - questions more related to commercial awareness. Basically I was ask to chose one issue among 4 proposed and answer questions on it. The issue I chose was: balance between increase in energy demand and environment. The interviewer asked me: what are the key points on this issue? How would you address the issue? What are the trade offs using such strategy for addressing the issue?

Interview
Straightforward video interview after completing the online assessment and situational judgement test. Questions focused on motivations, teamwork and handling challenges, with clear guidance on timing and format provided through the Shell graduate recruitment portal.

Interview
Overall it was an easy process, there was no issues with the technology and it was easy and straightforward to use. Only just 3 questions asked. Took about 15 minutes.
Virtual interviews better than most other companies. Nice to have the chance to retake the pre recorded interview after trying the question which most companies don't offer. Questions were average.
