I applied online. I interviewed at Siemens (San Francisco, CA) in June 2015
Interview
Phone interview with HR who talks about the role and responsibilities and will propose you to make an On demand Video interview to execute within 3 days you receive the link.
Recruitment process was not satisfying through this tool. Nothing was communicated about the company culture and performance expectations for the role. No possibility of interacting during the interview questions. It is a performance you make with your own background you are free to choose from your living room to a Starbuck coffee! Final outcome for evaluation is not clear. You can't make a copy of the video recording and nothing is said about the time of possession or deletion of the file by the company.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
7 questions through video recording with a maximum time of 3mn for the reply and 30s for preparing the answers. Ex. What will you find in the proposed job that you haven't had in your previous experience?
I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Siemens in July 2013
Interview
Received call for telephone screen about 2 weeks after submission of application. Then had a secondary, more in depth phone interview with recruiter. Was invited to in person interview which turned out to be a team interview with approximately 8 interviewers. Was also given preliminary hire screen packet and examination for submission post interview.
After the extremely rigorous in person interview and submission of my exam, I was not selected for the position. Unknown as to why, but this was a very educational experience. Go to your interview as over prepped as you can be, and it might be enough!
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Technical legal questions regarding specific contractual language. Some questions were analytical but others were fact-based on items I had not looked at since law school.
