Very unorganised process. First there was shortlisting based on CV. Then assignment round in which a vague problem statement with 1 day deadline for complete commented source code with SRS document and detailed Readme . Seriously xd . After this, on next day, received a call 4 hours before to schedule 1st Tech interview. I managed to say yes. Then 5 min before interview , another call interviewer is busy, wait for 15 mins. After 20 mins another call interviewer is busy will call after 30 mins. After wasting 1 hour I turned off my laptop . Then received call after another hour for interview. I somehow controlled myself and accepted the interview. Interview started with some basic problems in javascript. The interviewer was visibly overworked and frustrated . But still had a very sound discussion well over 1 hour regarding latest technologies, tools, programming languages, jokes and work life balance. Next day first received another call again 4 hours prior for interview. Again I managed to say yes. Now 5 mins before Interview again received call , same problem as earlier , interviewer not available. Again wasted 40 mins. Then a new interviewer is called at last moment. Questions asked slightly advanced javascript, promises, async-await, design patterns, event loop, garbage collection, REST, engine vs environment, mongodb, Angular front-end questions(xd yes for backend profile). The interviewer seemed to be in hurry and didn't listened to answers. Next at 12 in night received email for next round tomorrow morning. This was Managerial round, only one which was done on scheduled time. After this was CEO round, fortunately done on scheduled time. Not in single round did anyone not even CEO talked about company culture and how company cares about its employees?
Overall very unorganised process, probably worst that I have ever taken. I was finally offered the position but the offer seemed too unattractive for the work environment. So I declined the offer.
On the flip side you will surely get to learn a lot by joining here as you will be working off for 16 hours day as was said in one of the interviews. The team is smart no doubt. But surely no proper time management or work life balance exist.
