I am even not sure if it was an interview on Team Lead position.
I sent my CV a while ago and have almost forgotten about it. After a month or so, I have received an invite from the company to a technical interview.
There were no introduction at all. Their HR just played a role of a secretary who sends emails. Ok, the first step has passed, and the interview was quite easy if we ignore the fact that questions were from around 2005-2007.
Next day after, I have received an invite to a second interview. Again, no introduction at all. On the second call, there were two guys who most likely played roles of bad cop/good cop. The first one started and asked to design a ticketing system but did not provide any requirements. The task did not have clear description, but few title words. When I asked about requirements, I eventually was told in quite rude manner that nobody has to provide requirements.
Ok. I started imagining what the task was and suggesting solutions. The bad cop was always interrupting and swinging from theme to theme, while the good cop kept being silent. After a while I tired of that and told that I hardly can design anything useful if I do not understand what exactly they want. Eventually, the bad cop gave the initiative to the good one who was able to clarify a little the task. Well, after a while I have designed something. He told that the solution provided did what they wanted to see. We ran out of time and decided to stop.
Two weeks passed. The company just disappeared - no answer, no notification, no rejection, nothing…
Guys, you have demonstrated the highest level of ignorance and lack of respect or tolerance to me as a candidate.
Even if they invited me to a next phase, I would reject that invitation, because I would not like to work in such toxic environment with a demonstrated lack of respect.
