The day of my panel interview, the recruiter notified me that the interview would be delayed by 15 minutes, which was no problem. I arrived on time and waited in the lobby for over an hour without any communication about what was happening. I eventually reached out to the recruiter and was told that the hiring manager was running behind and had just arrived at the office. When the hiring manager finally came to get me, I learned that two members of the panel had not shown up. What was supposed to be a 60-minute panel interview turned into a 20–25 minute conversation with the remaining participants. I’m not sure if other candidates experienced the same situation, but I can’t imagine they did. As expected, I did not receive an offer. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Simplot as an employer.
