I applied on line and got a call from a recruiter about a week later. It lasted about 20 minutes. He gave me an overview of the job, and asked questions about my past experience and salary expectations. General company overview and job information was emailed to me and a phone interview was set up a few days later. The interview was scheduled for 30 minutes with two of the QA managers. I thought it went well as it ended up lasting over an hour. A week later I followed up with the recruiter and he stated they were still doing phone interviews. I wasn't called back for an in person interview but the recruiter was very good about keeping me in the loop and letting me know what the status was either way. I was finally told they went with another candidate about two weeks after my interview. I was very impressed by the recruiter's professionalism. Most companies I've dealt with in the past don't care about follow-through if they're not interested in you.
