I applied online. I interviewed at SkyWest Airlines in June 2017
Interview
The interview process is very unique. I would advise getting to the location EARLY. Dress for the job as well. This could be a long night so pack food. Make sure you have applied online prior to the interview and that you have printed your resume prior to your arrival. When I got there we were lined up and our names and resumes were taken. After the line your height was taken to assure you were at least 5ft. At 6pm sharp, a current flight attendant came in and gave us some information about the company and the job and then opened the floor for Q&A. I would ask a question, but make sure it is nothing they've already gone over. At the end she told us that we were going to take a 15 min break and when we returned, we would have one minute to tell why we would be a good flight attendant. This speech will dictate whether or not you make it to the one on one interviews. When you make your speech, dont talk too much about family life ect, keep it professional but make it memorable. DONT GO OVER A MINUTE. There were people who made speeches that were really good but lacked personality so they weren't chosen for one on one interviews. After all maybe 40 people had given their speech, we were dismissed for a break so the flight attendants could decide who would move on. If your name is on the list after the break, you go on to the one on one which had standard interview questions. We were told that we would be notified in 2 weeks via email if we were chosen or not. I received an email in just over a week.

Question 1
What is the hardest part about working with people?
It was a virtual one on one and after this process they alerted me of my training date a week later. The process was so pretty seemless and the company is good to work for but any little mistake you make you can be out.
The interview process was quick and easy. The recruiters were nice and answered all of my questions. They explained how the benefits worked and were very knowledgeable and the company.

Interview
Most of the interview involved picking apart my previous work experience. Asked a few basic questions, they are just looking for a certain look. It’s obvious. My look did not fit the part
