Only a handful of candidates were present at the SFO flight attendant recruitment event, but every single person was incredibly friendly and helpful. We were briefed on the history of the company, recruiter Backgrounds and the structure of how the event will run for the night. We all were given time to prep reasons why we would make great flight attendants (60 seconds max). Every single candidate did a fantastic job highlighting reasons why. This opportunity really is to share facts and experiences (above and beyond what is on our resume) of how our personality, skill set and enthusiasm makes us a great fit for a unique and challenging cabin crew lifestyle (not just a Job). Afterwards all candidates were awarded Face to face interviews the recruiters mentioned we would be notified within 10-14 calendar days about whether or not we have been selected. Everything went well and my interviewer was fantastic. Such a sweet and easy going person. I'm so glad SkyWest opted not to do one way video interviews because it really does feel more natural to communicate face to face. I received my offer via email exactly 13 days post my face to face and accepted the offer within 10 minutes of receiving the note. You have 48 hours to respond. I am incredibly happy and can't wait to start training in the Fall.
