      Instructor/Choreographer Interview

      23 July 2015
      Anonymous employee
      San Antonio, TX
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Smart Barre (San Antonio, TX) in July 2013

      Interview

Had to audition with one of the owners to show that I could lead and direct a class. After offered a position, was required to go through in-house training which was one week. The training was extremely fast paced and there were a couple other instructors that participated. Training consisted of learning the Smart Barre class outline, learning technique, choreographing pieces, peer teaching, and quizzes. It was all day, every day for a week. Overall training was exhausting, intense, and a bit overwhelming since a lot of content was crammed into one week.
