I had a very disappointing experience at the Société Générale interview drive held on 21st February 2026. I was informed by the consultancy that this would be a scheduled face-to-face drive with around 30–40 candidates. However, the actual situation was very different, as more than 100 candidates were present that day. I arrived at around 10:30 AM and completed my L1 round by 12:30 PM. I was informed that I had cleared Round 1, but there was no clear communication regarding the L2 schedule. After waiting for nearly four hours without any updates, I finally received an L2 slot at around 4:45 PM. By that time, it was already the end of the day, and the process felt rushed. The L2 interview lasted only for 2–3 questions before I was asked to leave. It gave the impression that decisions were being made quickly due to time constraints rather than a thorough evaluation. Additionally, candidates had to wait for long hours without proper arrangements, which made the experience even more difficult. My suggestion would be that if the organization is not prepared to handle a large number of candidates, bulk hiring drives should be planned more efficiently. Proper scheduling and communication would help avoid wasting candidates’ entire day and ensure a more professional interview experience.

Their is one online programming round which I cleared. After that I face one technical round which was short and I given answer of almost all question with my case studies which I learn from my 9 years of experience. After that they told me then will call me next week. I don't have any response from them. Why these HR say clear whether person is in or out at the same time. Anyways no response from them. I also feel like they are not in a mood to take my interview. I came at right time and after me other guys came. They took their interview first and when all are gone, then they took my interview. So don't know why they have done this.
