I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Sodexo (Las Vegas, NV) in June 2012
Interview
There are 2 preliminary interviews with recruiters. They are mostly about personality and what you would do in certain hypothetical situations. This allows them to see if your personality and management style would be a good fit for the company. Then if you pass both of those, the GM from the place you are applying will call you for an interview and ask "tell me about a time when you had an emergency situation and how you handled it and what the outcome was," for example. there will be about 8 questions like this. Then, once they narrowed down the selection of candidates, myself and one other person was interviewed by the district chef who asked me technical food questions to see how much food knowledge I had. One question for example was name the 5 mother sauces.
