I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Softr in July 2023
Interview
I was a candidate found by a hiring agency. Contact with the recruiter was great, also the first screening call. Now speaking about the company, I can definitely say that this was the least professional interview I've had in my entire career. The process is horribly long (5 steps), even after two rounds of technical interviews, you still have the culture fit part (despite having screening with the recruiter and then screening with the CEO). They are either searching for someone that doesn't exist or not treating candidates' time respectfully. Even if you do something wrong during the interview and you don't ask yourself, they wouldn't tell you that but will go to the next tasks. The only feedback I've got in the final step after spending hours on meetings and reserving a few days for them is "We are looking for someone more senior" - and ok, I respect that, but saying something like that after 4 (!) meetings is slap in the face.

Question 1
Some basic vanilla JS things, designing interfaces, code review, fixing broken code, optimization, and the best part: quiz questions like in high school, eg. "What is HTTP?" or "Is setTimeout part of JavaScript?".
