Interview
Three behavioral interviews and then a system design interview. Five week process, there was to be one final interview before I was rejected. The second interview was meant to be a technical interview (my greatest and only strength, unfortunately modern programmers are selected for their public speaking abilities since off-shore hiring makes intelligent programmers obsolete). Unfortunately they changed their mind and cancelled the technical interview in favor of another behavioral. The digital onsite interviews were also meant to be technical interviews. They were not. In total I spent a solid week studying React and Redux to refresh my skills for literally no reason due to this companies incompetence. Extremely unprofessional.

Question 1
Interviewer: Why didn't you want to use more than one javascript framework at a time?
Me: Ah, that can cause some compatibility issues.
Interviewer (looking at me like I am crazy): What kind of incompatibility issues arose?
Me (shocked): Um... (hesitates for five seconds) sorry I am blanking.
Interviewer: That's ok. No worries.
Me: Ah, the pagination was loading slowly due to the way the data display library we were using was communicating with the server so we ended up using a native Spring Boot solution instead.
(five week interview process failed over a five second hesitation, so don't be nervous)
