      E-commerce Project Manager Interview

      28 June 2017
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Las Vegas, NV
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Sonos (Las Vegas, NV) in June 2017

      Interview

Submitted application online and was contacted by a recruiter - from Amsterdam - via email a week or so later. The recruiter asked me to provide several time-slots for the upcoming week where I could do a phone interview with the hiring manager. I provided the dates/times and waited. The next week came and went and I reached out again to the recruiter to provide additional availability. The recruiter apologized and we agreed on a date / time the next week for the call. I waited on that date / time for a call that never came. When I asked the recruiter (again, I had to reach out), he apologized and said that we'd need to reschedule for the following week. Finally, we did have the phone interview and I thought it went fairly well. Pretty standard stuff. A week passed and I heard no feedback. Again, I reached out to the recruiter for information and was told that they'd look into it. Another week passed and my emails went unanswered. Finally, I asked again this week and instead of a response from the recruiter, i received a form rejection letter from the HR system (probably triggered by the recruiter). I am OK if I wasn't selected. But to have to continually reach out to the recruiter for info only to be summarily rejected is somewhat emasculating. Not to mention it lacks courtesy and professionalism. Why are recruiters so bad?
