Interviews at the Southern Arizona AIDS Foundation (SAAF) are always a panel, generally consisting of the direct supervisor, any direct coworkers you'd be working with in that position, and folks from different programs. They take approximately 45 minutes to an hour. Questions are asked in a round-robin format, with each member of the panel taking a turn to ask. Questions addressed my ability to perform the requirements of the job; my comfort and experience around specific populations, such as folks with HIV, people who inject drugs, and LGBTQ+ people; and my experience and comfort level in talking about sexual health (including having me explain how to put a condom on a demonstrator).
