Interview
Before getting an interview, I had to submit writing samples, answer a written interview question, and perform tasks in Airtable. There were four people from the firm conducting the interview via Zoom. The attorney basically started out saying I probably wasn't the right fit because they're looking for a "unicorn." Most of the questions were basic interview questions except for these two: tell us about something that shaped or impacted you from your childhood & how would you describe the color blue to a blind person? They said they would notify me of their decision by the end of the following week, but they never provided an update (that was over a month ago).

Some days after that, I received a request to do a test project with the client database they use called AirTable. It wasn't particularly well-designed and, as usual, candidates were not compensated in the slightest for their time even though it took at least an hour. About two weeks later, I had a Zoom/Teams interview with two staffers and one of the attorneys. The questions from the attorney were so odd. Rather than ask about my skills and experience, it felt like most of the questions were along the lines of, "You wouldn't do THIS (whatever mistake) thing would you?" It was pretty easy to see what working with her would be like...negative and micromanaging.

Interview
The first conversation was had with two members of the team. Standard interview questions were asked as pertained to the duties and responsibilities of the role. The interview was off to a good start until one of the interviewers asked me the following question...
