Software Developer - Video Technology Interview

      17 May 2022
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Oslo
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Sportradar (Oslo) in Mar 2022

      Interview

The process is pretty long where you communicate everything through the HR. The whole process consists of easy interviews. They want to meet you, check your background, talk about previous projects that are relevant for this role, etc... Each round you pass leads you to the next one. The last two steps are solving an easy problem in C++ and if they like it, you discuss the solution in the last interview. I was told somebody will contact me after that last interview, but instead they simply ghosted me. I think I deserved at least an e-mail saying "Sorry, we decided not to go further with you". The way they handled it is really disrespectful. I don't mind the rejection, but the way they did it was totally unprofessional.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

A lot of stuff related to audio/video development, but nothing technically demanding. They simply try to check things from your CV.
