Interview
Had a teams meeting with the recruiter. Very friendly and made me feel at ease. Had to chase her down a bit after that for updates, but I understand she was busy and had many applicants for the job.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Staria (Helsinki, Southern Finland) in May 2025
Interview
Screening call and three interviews. Communication was effecient and timely. Treatement was professional but humble. I felt challenged and my answers were scrutinized but I felt I have been treated fairly. I was given chance to ask questions and I got a very good impression on the company and its values.

Question 1
Questions were more of a discussion on how I have dealt with difficult situations as a Quality lead or as a scrum master and if I am aware of the negative sides of my proposed approaches for example: Describe a time when your team consistently failed to meet Sprint goals. What did you do to identify the root cause and how did you address it?"
Or how do you deal with resistance? Technical debt? Changing priorities? Etc
I had two interviews, one with HR and one with managers. The interviews went so well that I thought they would give me an offer, but it was an illusive impression. HR's reply shocked me, as they said they moved further with candidates who are "more motivated and excited and whose expectations match more perfectly." Also, I don't think that having "good English skills and international experience" in the 21st century is something you have to repeat to a candidate a few times as it sounds very arrogant.
