I spoke with the owner of the specific state farm agency that was closest to me over the phone. After speaking with him both about past work experience and skills as well as some info about my personal life; I was offered a position pending a background check. After passing the background check and officially accepting the position I had materials sent to my house to begin studying for my license.

Question 1
How much do you know about insurance and how quickly do you feel you learn new things? This position requires you to take a few exams and a quick online course in order to meet the state requirements, does that worry you?
The interview process was long, took around 2 months with several online zoom meetings. The last interview was me meeting the team and seeing if I liked the office .

Interview
3rd party recruiter interview was standard then met with the agency owner - he asked a lot of questions about how my husband felt about me taking the role. The agency also doesn’t offer benefits and only gives 7 days of PTO.
