I applied through the company website and was reached out to by a company recruiter, who reviewed my resume and scheduled a call interview with the VP of Engineering. On the day of the scheduled interview, I sent a confirmation email to the recruiter to ensure everything was set. However, the VP of Engineering never joined or reached out for the interview. I followed up afterward to try to reschedule and made it clear that I was flexible with timing, but I did not receive any response. The recruiter also stopped responding to my messages. Overall, the experience was disappointing and unprofessional, as there was a clear lack of communication and respect for my time as a candidate.
