Interview
Not sure what went wrong as I thought everything went well overall.
Had an initial screen/interview with a manager within department. Progressed to final round which were back to back rounds with same manager (apparently hiring manager was gone a week later from my initial interview - red flag??) , controller and CEO .
I thought the feedback from the hiring manager was positive and felt I’d be an excellent fit. So I was surprised to receive a rejection email the next morning…. Honestly the whole process is a bit much, seems they want to spend time in a perpetual hiring process rather than actually hire someone on and have them start work.
Very disappointing.
The position is still vacant btw; there is no one perfect person!
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Stilt (San Francisco, CA) in Jan 2022
Interview
Very long process for a specialist role that interacts with customers. From the job description I got, it would be basically a customer service role processing loans via email/chat. 20 min Phone screen, 30 mins manager interview, 2 hr back to back panel interview with members of the team and CEO. CEO had to leave early and seemed so uninterested. Barely asked me any questions and I ended up asking several just to keep conversation going. Very lengthy process to just get declined - felt like a waste of time especially when interviewer seems uninterested from the start.
