I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Success Academy Charter Schools (New York, NY) in Oct 2016
Interview
The whole process lasted between 9am-2/3pm. There were two components to the interview. The first part was the group interview where you introduce yourselves with the significant object you brought in with you. After that they give the group a brief history of Success Academy and what it's mission is, etc. When that's over you are given 15min to come up with a 4min lesson based on a short excerpt of "Because of Winn-Dixie". They provide you with guidelines of what your lesson should be like as well as a demo lesson given by one of the interviewers. You really only have 4 minutes to do the entire thing so try to make every minute count. Don't spend too much in the beginning in order to get into the actual teach portion of your mini lesson. After each you teach back they give you positive and constructive feedback. When every member of your group has done the teach back you then have 5minutes to go back into your lesson and use the feedback that they gave you to improve your lesson. After that you have 1 minute to produce the portion of the lesson you decided to work on to the other members of your group. When all teach backs and re-teach's are done, they give us paper work to do while they have one-on-one interviews. The paper work consisted of reading a poem and coming up with 3 literal and 3 deeper meaning questions, a scenario where you would respond to it via email and a sheet of where you'd prefer to be placed. The whole thing was a very helpful and great experience.

Interview
The interview was timed online. They give you time to think about your question and then you have to turn on your camera and record yourself. This was the first round interview.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
There asked hypothetical questions on teaching methodologies
It was a series of two interviews. One was a group interviews while one was a one on one interview as well as a video that one had to record to answer additional questions
Group interview with behavioral and then also a sample of discipline. We were asked typical behavioral interview style questions like tell me about yourself, name a time you failed. It was kind of awkward because all interviewees would take turn answering. We were not given the opportunity to aak the interviewers any questions
