I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Success Academy Charter Schools
Interview
A recruiter reached out to me regarding the Education Manager position. Then she interviewed me for the Education Coordinator position instead... I would really appreciate it if recruiters had integrity in the interviewing process. If you are going to interview me for a different position please let me know in advance because my time is valuable too.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Success Academy Charter Schools (New York, NY) in Aug 2014
Interview
The process took roughly three-four weeks from when I first applied to when I was offered a position. I found the position on idealist but applied through their website. They wanted a cover letter, a short motivational essay, and a resume. I had an initial phone screen, was notified on the phone screen that I would be offered a second round-interview, completed an interview task (make a schedule, analyze some data, write a letter home to parents), had a second-round interview with a panel of recruiters, then had another interview with the principal of the school with which I would be working. In the first-round interview they asked my salary expectations and where I wanted to work, which was a bit disconcerting. I was placed in a school in a location for which I did not ask, but was compensated at the top end of the range for which I had asked.
