I applied in-person. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Sunglass Hut in July 2014
Interview
Interview process took about 6 weeks as they were interviewing a lot of potential candidates. Questions were rather simple, "What is your plan to increase business?" and "Tell us about a time when you had to increase a certain product or area of sales, how did you do it?" Basically they are looking for someone who is really upbeat, smiley and isn't afraid to talk to anyone. A typical sales person.

Question 1
The questions are all rather easy. I wouldn't worry too much, especially if you've done retail management interviews before.
I applied online. I interviewed at Sunglass Hut (Cincinnati, OH) in May 2026
Interview
Pretty casual and went with the flow not super structured so it felt more natural and not forced. They pretty much let me lead the conversation and didn't mind me circling back to other questions they asked previously.

Question 1
What's is your style management like and how do you use it to get your team to work for you even when you are away.
The interview process with both hiring recruiter and market manager was fully transparent, both provided clear expectations of the role and a smooth process. Hiring process and background check were fast and efficient
I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Sunglass Hut (Roanoke, VA) in Apr 2026
Interview
The interview process was disorganized and unprpfessional. Managers arrived and started the interview late and did not dress up. Were not transparent about pay or their sales metrics which was strange. I have never been interviewed by managers that didn't know their sales metrics. Then they filled the position the next day without even a rejection letter. Complete waste of time.
