I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Superside (Chicago, IL) in Dec 2025
Interview
I interviewed at Superside in Dec 2025-Feb 2026. The interview structure was - an initial interview with the recruiter, then a test assessment (that makes no sense), then a call with the hiring manager and then a case study presented to a panel. After the panel interview, they ghosted me for 2 weeks past when they said they'd get back to me. Then, they let me know that they were putting hiring on hold, as they were unexpectedly restructuring, which is totally fair. However, their case study was incredibly robust and involved to then put hiring on hold. It was a 3 part assignment and quite literally asks you to research and have a deep understanding of 3 different companies, including their business objectives and goals, recent events and strategic priorities. Incredibly unreasonable to ask people to do this much leg work while they have other day jobs. A month and a half later, they let me know that they're now shifting hiring to outside of the U.S. for this role... almost seems like they're trying to steal ideas from candidates...
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Superside in Mar 2025
Interview
The interview process at Superside was structured and engaging. I went through three interviews—starting with an initial conversation to align on mutual fit, followed by more in-depth discussions focusing on role-specific skills and cultural alignment. In addition to the interviews, I completed one assessment, which was reviewed during a panel session. This multi-step process allowed both sides to deeply evaluate alignment, capabilities, and potential impact.
