      Software Engineer Interview

      15 July 2024
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at SureCo in May 2024

      Interview

First interview was with the CTO, he used a very old online IDE that he didn't really know how to use and asked me a question where he said he specifically wanted me to think of an inefficient solution to "see my creativity". Weird but fine. Moved onto their System Design and behavioral interviews where I felt like I did a great job in both. While all the interviewers seemed awkward, they were nice enough. However, was told there were no females on the team and that they were looking to diversify but handn't found the right talent. That should have been another red flag. In the end, they completed ghosted me even after 3 follow up attempts on my end. I wouldn't bother giving them your time if they're that disrespectful.
