Sweet Cherry Publishing interview questions

Seems to be a very small company, sent them some questions but it seems the HR person was on holiday for several weeks after the job opening was posted. They sent me a 3000-word editing test to complete within a week, which was a chapter from a children's book and took an afternoon to complete. They emailed me back three weeks later to say that they had gone with a different candidate; no further feedback or responses to emails.
