Through Zoom. Very punctual. The interviewee was very welcoming. Self introduction and informed me about the company background and jobscope as well. Talked about my past work experience too. Overall very good flow and professional.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Swift Infinity in Aug 2024
Interview
Applied for "Management Trainee (Marketing Department)" on Indeed.
The first interview was quick, and it was mentioned that the position is related to sales and marketing.
During the second interview, it was stated that the company’s clients are major companies in Malaysia, including the largest bank and a leading telco. However, there weren't many details provided, such as the job scope or general tasks. The only thing they repeatedly emphasized was "we do face-to-face marketing." It was also revealed that the job has no base salary, with a six-day work week and alternate weekends off. I'm not sure if this constitutes false advertising, but I felt deceived, as the job description mentioned "Pay: From RM3,000.00 per month" and "Schedule: Monday to Friday." Without a base salary, you still get paid weekly, but only if you make successful sales that week. However, no details about the incentive scheme or sales percentage were disclosed during the interview.
It was also revealed that there would be no official offer letter or contract—just a secretive agreement between you and the company.
I decided to accept the "offer" to see what it was really about.
