I was initially contacted by a recruiter and progressed to the next stage, which involved an interview with two managers from the regulatory department. While the interview started off well, it quickly took a turn. Halfway through, one of the interviewers left the meeting to answer the doorbell and never returned. This came across as extremely unprofessional and left me feeling that I wasn’t given a fair opportunity to present myself fully.
Additionally, there was a clear lack of alignment between HR and the hiring managers. HR communicated that the role would require coming into the office once a week, while the hiring managers stated it would be three times a week a significant discrepancy that raised red flags about internal communication.
To make matters worse, after the interview, I never heard back. No follow-up, no closure and I was completely ghosted.
Overall, this was a very disappointing experience. The process lacked professionalism, communication, and basic respect for candidates’ time. Based on this experience, I would not consider working at this company in the future.
