I applied from a job posting on LinkedIn and the hiring manager reached out to me a week later via email. We had a 30 minute zoom call where we discussed my experience and what they were looking for. I received an email from the hiring manager inviting me to the second round of interviews which consisted of 3 separate interviews with different people in the company. All interviews went well and I was excited about the job. The following week was a holiday week so I was not surprised when I didn’t hear anything from them. After 3 weeks had passed since my last interview I sent an email checking in. I did not hear back so two more weeks later I sent another email to follow up. About 2 months after I had last heard anything, I saw a new job posting on LinkedIn for the same job I had been interviewing for. I decided to send one more email to follow up, and still did not hear anything. Then another month after that, I finally received an email from the hiring manager that said they apologized for the delay (lol) and that the job was still open but they were moving forward with other candidates. Overall, I liked the people I spoke with, but the hiring process was highly unprofessional and disorganized.
