Interview
1. Casual talk with hiring manager and department head. About 30min.
2. Panel interview with 7 people, including some questions about prior experience, case study. In total about 90min. The recruiter told me there would be some competency based questions to be answered in STAR way, but in fact I was not asked.
The result was informed within 2 days.

Motivation of applying for this role.
Case study was not a very typical case study, they showed me some sql code and asked me about how would I handle some issues.
The interview process was smooth - first step involved an initial HR call discussing the role, salary expectations, CV, previous experience etc. Then technical interview and then a final interview with the team members shadowing the role.
It was a slow process and it took a couple of months before I got invited to the first round. Interview questions were quite direct. Mainly behavioural questions for the first round.
