Interview
Contacted by recruiter that has a strong working relationship with the company. I had a phone interview with the hiring manager and an HR director. Then a face-to-face interview with the hiring manager, an HR director and HR manager (would be working peers in new role), a plant manager and finance director (customers). I was informed ahead of time that I would be meeting with this group. However, upon arrival, I found that I would be meeting with a VP 1-1 and the direct reports of the position. The company uses a travel service company for travel arrangements. That was painless. It did take about 3 months before I was reimbursed for my personal expenses related to the interview.
Straight forward. You need to focus on the interviewer! If they are soft, they expect soft, kind answers. If they seem firm, they are looking for driven leaders that want the best for the business.
