Takeda interview questions

Fast and straight forward. No presentation or group interview. Scheduled fast and all online. No references were called either. About five 1:1 interviews done online. HR screening is bit difficult to pass.

I went through the first round of interviews, which was technical and went fairly well. However, after the round, I was informed by HR that the company’s requirements had changed and that the role would be re-advertised with a revised TOR. A few weeks later, I learned that the position had actually been filled internally, apparently because the candidate was already familiar with the SOPs. Overall, the process felt quite unprofessional for several reasons. The interview was rescheduled multiple times, sometimes even at the last minute, with the explanation that the concerned person was being pulled into urgent meetings. During my interview, I was also told the organization was facing a critical HR shortage which made it puzzling that they ultimately chose to hire internally rather than bringing in new talent. It gave me the impression that the company lacked clarity in its hiring processes. I interacted with two HR representatives. One was professional and polite, while the other was rather unpleasant, using subtle intimidation tactics when discussing salary expectations. This, along with the disorganized recruitment process, left me with the impression that the company does not have a well-structured or transparent approach to hiring.
