I applied online. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Takeda Pharmaceuticals in Aug 2018
Interview
The initial interview was a phone screen with an internal recruiter. The questions were standard, resume specific questions. While nice, they couldn't answer a single question about the job: territory, products, what specialists I'd be calling on, target start date, training, pay. These are all commonly asked questions. I was recommended to the second round of the interview: HireVue. For those not familiar, HireVue is essentially a one way Skype. You record yourself answering a series of questions, which I find incredibly awkward. This entirety of this position requires face to face interaction with clients, so the concept of HireVue doesn't make sense to me. Long story short, I didn't feel confident about the HireVue I submitted but hoped my previous sales numbers and rankings would speak for themselves. I never heard back from Takeda again. Not even a generic email saying they were choosing to pursue another candidate. Needless to say, I'm glad I didn't get the job.
Lots of situational interview questions - be prepared to share the situation, action, and result. Several rounds of interviews - one with a screener, one with two district managers, one with a regional manager.
I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Takeda Pharmaceuticals (Reno, NV) in June 2023
Interview
It was very professional and short. She was very detailed and kind. She walked me through the benefits and the role. We also discussed the recruiting process and timelines. We focused the discussion on my experience and the companies I worked for. We also discussed the company culture and their focus on diversity, equality and inclusion.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Takeda Pharmaceuticals
Interview
I had a phone screen with a recruiter then I interviewed with the district manager. It was mostly a conversational interview. The hiring manager kept prolonging giving me a decision and finally after three weeks post-interview, I was told an intern would be doing the field sales in that district instead, interesting to say the least.
