The process was slightly inefficient. An interview with the director should not be scheduled if their schedule is erratic. They will most likely have other duties and will not be able to make it to interviews of such junior roles. Nobody enjoys being snubbed.

There were two steps after the initial screening with a recruiter. A phone interview with the hiring manager and then an in person interview to meet the rest of the team.

It was a really long process. It took over a month to finish interviewing. I had more experience for the position I applied for so I had to do a presentation showcasing my experience as it relates to the role. I wasn’t selected as they decided to pursue an internally recommended candidate.
