I interviewed at Takeda Pharmaceuticals (Bengaluru)
Interview
The interview process in the company is usual with 2 HR rounds and face to face interview with the hiring manager. But the issue is the co-ordination of the HR team as the head office is in Gurugram and hiring for Bangalore location. Candidate needs to do lot of follow ups to complete the screening. And for this position after the salary negotiation and at the time of ruling out the offer letter the management team decides to freeze the position. It's unfair and unprofessional after a 2 month long of interview process and at the closing giving this reason to discontinue the application. Which also is been only communicated if there is a follow up done by the candidate.

Interview
I can't even describe how upsetting the interview process is at this company. I had at least 10 different interviews with 10 different people for 3 different positions over the course of 3 months. Did I ever hear back from ANY of them? Absolutely not. It's such a massive waste of time on my end and everyone else's. I would NEVER make that mistake ever again. I used to work at Shire (AND was referred by someone for a role there!), so I felt I had a leg up on the competition. I get it; you want to hire the best and brightest, but honestly, I just don't know what they want anymore. I would love to have a chat with the head of hiring. What is going on here? Highly disappointing.
