TaxConnex interview questions

Initial screening interview with a follow-up interview over two months later (if it had not been on my calendar when they initially scheduled it, I would have forgotten about them). After follow-up interview, it was insinuated I was a thief because of some credit problems back during Covid (that I am working through and paying off, I could have easily ignored them or filed bankruptcy, but instead I am doing the "right" thing and making sure those creditors are repaid). Very unprofessional company, and I would seriously question working for (or as a customer, doing business with) them.

Interview process overall was good. A video call with hiring manager followed by in person interview with hiring manager, a team member, and the COO. They were friendly and personable and I didn’t feel uncomfortable at any point in time. Only thing is that I was told they offered the role to someone else and now I just saw it reposted again…to me it’s a red flag. I might have just dodged a bullet.
