I applied online. I interviewed at Tesco in Jan 2016
Interview
The interview process was to long and management didn't take an interest in my actual experience. I didn't take up the position as something better came along. But didn't feel like the whole process was far to long and no consideration to me was given
very easy interview, just talk about yourself and introduce your past job experience and what you have to offer. Show eagerness to learn and improve your performance in the job
they were very friendly, we sat in the office and they asked for my details as well as asking some questions. he then showed me around where I would be working.
The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Tesco (Eastbourne, England) in Nov 2021
Interview
Absolutely awful. Felt the manager didn’t even want to be in the interview. I was told on arrival she has had a stressful day and clearly shouldn’t deliver interviews if she can’t handle her “stressful days” I was then told nobody in supermarkets even like their job and I’d be too “bubbly” for this role. Quite baffling how somebody can be to bubbly for a job. Extremely unprofessional, and didn’t even get back to me to tell me I was unsuccessful. Not expected for such a big supermarket chain. Treated poorly and would not recommend applying for Tesco in Eastbourne, East Sussex. Either way it’s not my loss ✌️ it’s your companies
