I applied online. I interviewed at Tesco (Beckenham, England) in June 2021
Interview
Quite laid back. They want to get to know you and see what your situation is, whether you have had any past experience etc. To gage a level of competency.

I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Tesco (Keith, Scotland) in Apr 2026
Interview
Interviewer was 15 minutes late to the interview. It is a standard job at Tesco, so you wouldn’t expect too much, but the interview itself was not very personable. Compared to other retailers where the interview is centred more around getting to know the interviewee as a person, this interview felt rushed and lacking.
A fairly standard interview for the position. You essentially just discuss your background, what you know about the role, what times you'd be willing to work and how well you think you can work in a fast paced environment,
Comfortable and low stress . The interview was easy and he didn't ask any questions because 46 people applied for a 6am job. They only care about previous big shop experience.
