I applied through university. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Texas Instruments (Gurgaon, Haryana) in Aug 2014
Interview
Got selecting through a written test on campus. Was called to their office in Gurgaon the next day for interviews. There were two round of interviews- the first one involved discussing the approach I followed in solving the questions in their written examination and also solving the ones which I wasn't able to crack, following the hints which my interviewer gave me. This round lasted around 1hr 45mins and they told me I was selected for the next round before the previous one was over. In the next round, a relatively senior guy took my interview and asked my one question (which we covered two semesters later) and led me to the solution. Even though I gave the correct answer, he suggested a simple and better approach.
Both the interviews went really well and I was really sure of having cracked it, but never got any further intimation, nor did anyone else who applied in the same profile. I later found they didn't select anyone from this profile the previous year too.
Really bad that these guys don't even care to tell you if you haven't made it.
