I was in a conference with 4 interviewers. Even though they asked about my bookkeeping, Powerpoint, Excel and MS Word styles experience, when I finally got the job I realized that these these skills were not needed. It seemed odd to me that such skills were a requirement when the job itself was not as demanding as they made it out to be.
