I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Texas Workforce Commission (Austin, TX) in July 2015
Interview
Panel interview with a practical application component (30 min. to put together a powerpoint and make a presentation). Each person on the panel asked questions in a round-robin fashion. The questions were standard interview questions. Nothing particularly difficult. The practical application component challenged me, especially since the laptop did not have internet access (turned out to be a glitch, not something they planned). Fortunately, the presentation topic was a subject I knew quite well (lucky me!).

I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Texas Workforce Commission (Austin, TX) in Nov 2017
Interview
2.5 hour interview includes a series of scripted questions. I was additionally asked to take 30 minutes of the time to research and prepare a training session of 3 to 5 minutes. I was advised that this would take place, but was not told what the topic would be until I arrived at the site. They also provided the laptop for me to do the presentation.

They asked me to explain in detail the technical training that I had done previously. They asked me to bring a copy of the materials that I had developed and asked me to describe a topic from that document.
