I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at The Alpha Grid Media (London, England)
Interview
Looks like I dodged a bullet. Terrible experience from start to finish.
Contacted by a member of the team to arrange a date, which was subsequently changed. Got the wrong invite, which got changed again.
Both interviewers were late. One allegedly “loved my work”, the other one admitted she didn’t even read my CV. One question each, no one actually managed the interview.
If it wasn’t for my questions, we would’ve been done in 10 minutes. Then they had to rush to the next interview.
No updates for weeks, followed by a generic “after a careful consideration...” rejection.
You won’t be surprised to hear I didn’t get any feedback when I asked for it.

Interview
My interview was in-person at the FT offices. It initially began with one person, who informed me their colleague (the hiring manager) was on a call and would join us shortly. We started the interview. The hiring manager finally arrived 20 minutes late. The first guy then said he would have to now leave to 'jump on a call'. He then left and the hiring manager - clearly unprepared - spent the remaining time asking me the same questions I had already answered and looking as if they wanted to be elsewhere. I left with the impression they weren't bothered. An unprofessional experience.
