Interview
I applied online the whole online process was very long. Took about an hour. They made you take personality tests and comprehension tests which seemed like over-kill of such a basic minimum wage position. The site for applying also didn't work that well so I had to try multiple times to submit some of my information. So if you really want to apply make sure you set aside a significant amount of time. The actual interview was straightforward, they asked questions about previous employment, product knowledge and why I wanted to work there.
I was asked a few basic questions by phone and then asked to come in for a laid back face-to-face interview. I was then asked to come back for the shop floor trial with the other interview candidates where we had to perform a series of tasks. It took them 3 weeks to send me a rejection email which I thought was very poor.
I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at The Body Shop (Canterbury, England) in July 2025
Interview
A 45 minute trial shift where they got you to interact with customers as if you worked there and give a hand and arm massage to a customer to try and sell an item. Very straight forward and they were looking to see if you follow what they ask.
the process was friendly, the first rounnd was phone interview followed by in person interview. the roles and responsibilities were east to follow . over all it was an easy and smooth eexperience.
