The "Assistant Manager" on site was completely unaware that I was scheduled to be interviewed by him. So I sat there for 30 minutes waiting for him. When he showed up, he bragged about his kids and their boyfriend/girlfriend for 15 minutes and then proceeded to tell me, "I've been a manager longer than you've been alive." Mind you, I was 20. And if he's been a manager for 20 years and still can't get past being an "assistant," that says a lot and none of it is good. He then told me I didn't have enough experience to be a barista (I had 1 year). I was getting second-hand embarrassment the entire time and declined the offer of a hostess position that paid significantly less so I could "prove myself" ...Think I'll pass. The best part was when I told him where I worked as a Barista, he said he had never heard of that place before. A popular coffee chain in Austin, Texas...
I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at The Cheesecake Factory (Sawgrass, FL) in July 2020
Interview
They called me in, and the first day were questions about myself and a description of the position I applied for. They gave me a second interview the next day, and asked me additional questions about my self.
