I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at The Covalent Bond (London, England) in Dec 2024
Interview
The interview process was clear and well-communicated from start to finish. It began with an initial chat, followed by two further stages, including a marketing case task that was relevant to the role. Senior leaders were involved throughout, which made the process feel considered rather than box-ticking.
Because the team is fairly small, I was invited into the office during the process and had the chance to meet team members in person. That really helped set realistic expectations around the role and the culture. Communication around next steps was consistent, even though the process ran over the Christmas period when some people (including myself) were away.
The final interview was quite challenging, as interviewers push you to explain and defend your assumptions rather than guiding you toward a “right” answer, which gives a good sense of how the team thinks and works day to day.

Question 1
They asked me to walk them through my thinking behind the marketing case rather than just the outcome like why I chose certain channels, what I would test first and how I’d adapt if results didn’t go as planned.
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at The Covalent Bond (London, England) in June 2025
Interview
The process is tedious and not good. They will make you do an entire task which would usually take you minimum 10 hours to do. They don't pay you for it. They were aware after 2nd interview of my take home pay with my current company and my SEO experience was next to none (again they were aware and gave me a week's time, which I did perform better than expected - said by interviewer) but the reason for rejection was financial package and SEO knowledge. Funny after picking someone's ideas
