Interview
One of the interviews was late and talked about how tired he was. He was zoning out the entire time, proven by him asking a question the other interviewer had just asked. He told me that I was incorrect about the name of CEO of a company I worked for for 10 years because “it was a friend of his.”
The interview had no structure and most of the questions were regarding Franchisee Recruitment, not marketing the brand as a whole. It was a bullet dodged! Not a company I would want to work for.

Interview
Explained job responsibilities and the process of their certification in detail. Very easy to talk to. I was able to see the entire facility and the equipment that would be used during classes.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at The Max Challenge (Morganville, NJ) in Nov 2019
Interview
I was first screened by the marketing manager via the Internet. We had a good connection so she invited me to come in for a one-on-one. I went in for the interview and we spoke for over an hour. She was excited for me to come back in and speak to the CEO, and she made that happen within a week. That conversation between me, the CEO and the marketing manager also lasted over an hour. After the interview she said she was making a decision by the end of the week and she’d let me know either way. Despite an email at the end of the week saying that they still had some interviews to do and that I was still being considered, I never heard back about whether I got the job (which after a month I assumed I didn't). It made no sense: She was very excited about me, and she worked to move the interview process along quickly. Then crickets. I believe the CEO didn’t share in her enthusiasm for my candidacy and told her to keep looking. So basically "we believe in communication here and we'll definitely let you know either way" was just lip service.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They asked the typical questions like “tell me about yourself” and “how do you stay organized”. They also told me that the person who had the job before me didn’t work out and they were looking for someone with a different skill set. The CEO wanted to know if I was comfortable on the phone and if I felt I could hit his projected monthly goals, whereas the marketing manager was interested in my writing skills. In retrospect, I feel the CEO and marketing manager had different ideas for the position and whoever got the job is going to have to manage their differing expectations.
