I applied online. I interviewed at Thermo Fisher Scientific in Jan 2014
Interview
I recieved an email from the Talent Acquisition manager a few weeks after the application deadline, inviting me for an interview. She offered to book a flight for me, but that was not necessary as I was in the area at the time of the interview.
I met with the manager of the department I was applying for as well as another employee in the department. The interview was more of a low-key conversation where we talked about my background (I was a recent graduate), the assignments and responsibilities of the role I was considered for, and how I would fit into the group both professionally and personally.
About a week after the interview, I received another e-mail from the TA manager, asking for references and university transcripts, as they were moving forward to the next round of interviews. The very next day, she called to offer me the job, as they did not feel the need for a second interview.

Interview
Standard interview process. Most of it was professional, but 2 of the interviewers clearly had no questions prepared and had not even looked at my resume. It felt like they had never conducted an interview before and it gave me a negative impression.

No questions stood out and they were ill formated.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Thermo Fisher Scientific in July 2024
Interview
First was called by HR who said I could be a good fit and scheduled me for an on site interview. I had several rounds with the team manager, other employees and finally with someone higher up in HR. They seemed very disorganized and not sure about what their own role's job description was and were not able to ask me the right questions as a result.

Question 1
They asked questions about what my capacity for working was and how much I could juggle at once.
