I applied online. I interviewed at Thermo Fisher Scientific (Durham, NC) in Sept 2020
Interview
Applied online. Received a call from a recruiter a couple weeks later. Moved forward to interview with hiring manager. A panel interview. It took about a week and I was offered the job. Very smooth process
I had two rounds of interviews and a phone screen. Everyone was nice and was clear about the expectations of the role but it seems to be siloed. Interesting that there was a drug test for remote work...
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Thermo Fisher Scientific in Jan 2024
Interview
The interview process consisted of three interviews, now test. I did not receive an answer for 2 months after the 3rd interview!! I had to ask for feedback, as it seems terrible to go through all the interviews and no one made an effort to inform me. I figured that they took someone else, but this is not the point. On my third interview I had three two Sr managers and one director on the call. The feedback was very poor and not relevant... Many red flags in this department, e.g. there were no team members present in the interview process..
The company looks archaic and chaotic.
